The internet reacts to Louis Tomlinson’s Kill My Mind

So, if you were online at all this week, you understand this is a pretty accurate description of how we’ve all been feeling since Wednesday:

Ahead of his newest single release on Thursday, Louis Tomlinson revealed a unique promotion strategy: he’d release one-second snippets of the upcoming song ‘Kill My Mind’ and challenge fans to put it together and hear a teaser. Naturally, his super sleuth fans solved it in just over twenty minutes:

But despite Louis’ chaotic good personality responding to fan tweets for the next few hours, the real pandemonium didn’t break out for another day when the song was finally released. From there, fans truly devolved. Here are some of our favourite responses:
