Niall Horan is the latest musician to join the “Together, At Home” collaboration between the World Health Organization and Global Citizen. Following in the footsteps of Chris Martin from Coldplay, John Legend, and Charlie Puth — Niall put on a little concert for 54,000 live streamers on his Instagram account. The series is meant to keep all the people across the world in self-isolation from coronavirus lockdowns company — and remind them about the importance and necessity of social distancing.

Niall played an eclectic range of songs from his debut solo album “Flicker” and sophomore album “Heartbreak Weather” which was released last week. The setlist for his living room concert: ‘This Town,’ ‘Flicker,’ ‘No Judgement’, ‘Nice to Meet Ya,’ ‘Slow Hands,’ and ‘Black and White.’
As the number of viewers slowly grew, Niall waited to begin his mini-concert so he could share an important message. “It’s more than a gig and we need to raise as much awareness as we can,” Niall said, referencing the virus that has brought the world to a standstill. He even mentioned the importance of self-isolating for the sake of others, elderly like his own grandmother, or not. Before he kicked off his acoustic session, he had one final message, “I don’t think people my age are really taking this as seriously as they should.”
The half an hour mini-concert garnered lots of attention before Niall passed it along to Common, yet NIall — who, unfortunately, has had much of his promotion for his new album canceled due to the virus, came back and started another live video for fans. It’s not his first of the week — and we hope it’s not the last.
In dark times like these, musicians like Niall are making sure to not only take care of themselves but others around them. Together, at Home, is an ongoing series dedicated to making isolation not so lonely.
