BUT IT'S NEVER BEEN AS IT WAS BEFORE THIS SONG CAME OUT!!!

If you thought that Harry Styles would never release a song on April Fools’ Day then you are completely wrong today (and so are we). Because after the iconic Fine Line era for almost two-and-a-half years, Mr. Styles is coming with a new era and it starts with his brand new lead single ‘As It Was’ for his third upcoming album Harry’s House.

This is maybe the best April Fool’s Day ever, however we are actually sobbing over Harry’s new single. In ‘As It Was’, Harry sings about about his feelings: missing the past and feeling lonely. However, Harry wouldn’t be Harry if he didn’t mix the sad lyrics with a up-tempo beat combined with synths and bells – giving you a total ’80s feeling. With lyrics like ‘I want you to hold out the palm of your hand, Why don’t we leave it at that?’ and ‘Ringin’ the bell. And nobody’s coming to help’ we are still sobbing about this beautiful song.

And then we aren’t even talking about the music video, which is an absolute masterpiece:

Harry Styles announced on March 23th that his third studio album Harry’s House will drop on May 20th. His announcement became the most liked tweet for an album announcement on Twitter with more than a million likes. We. Can’t. Wait.
