To welcome and celebrate the Year of the Tiger, the Asian music and media company 88rising announced a brand new global digital festival, ‘Double Happiness’, on February 4th at 7pm PT (February 5th 3am GMT). The digital festival will be streamed via FacebookYouTube, and 88rising Radio on SiriusXM (Ch 305).

‘Double Happiness’ will feature exclusive, visually stunning performances from GOT7’s super-popstar Jackson Wang, Winner’s MINO, The Rose’s Woosung, Audrey Nuna, Stephanie Poetri, Warren Hue, Seori, MILLI, Adawa, Alex Porat, Mỹ Anh, Shayiting EL, Youngohm, Yuzhen.

88rising’s ’Double Happiness’ livestream celebration is another incredible music experience by 88rising. This is not the first time 88rising has created virtual events; ‘Double Happiness’ follows the massive success of the group’s ’Asia Rising Together’ in 2021, with 5 million viewers; the previous year, 88rising organised another livestream, ‘Asia Rising Forever’, which became the #1 trending topic on both YouTube and Twitter while it was streamed with 8.5 million viewers.

As announced by 88rising, donations from the ‘Double Happiness’ stream will support the Asian Mental Health Collective, which creates a supportive and empathetic community, collaborates with mental health professionals and organizations, and celebrates mental health stories as Asians.

88rising is also known for their annual ‘Head In The Clouds’ two-day festival, with the latest edition in November 2021 featuring incredible Asian talents from every genre, with performances from Rich Brian, CL, Joji, DRP, BIBI, and more.

It was also recently announced that 88rising will be presenting ‘Head In The Clouds Forever’, a historical live experience culmination of what 88rising represents, at this year’s Coachella.

‘Double Happiness’ will take place and be streamed on February 4th at 7pm PT (February 5th 3am GMT).
