Niall Horan takes us behind the scenes in his lyric video for ‘Slow Hands’

As the One Direction boys take their, uh, own directions with the beginning of their solo endeavours, Niall Horan is back with his second single ‘Slow Hands’ and has just dropped the lyric video.

Talking about the single to ‘Bizarre Life’, Niall said, “It was a random song when it came about. He just started playing [the intro of the song] on the piano and it just sort of went from there and it just felt like it was starting to get sexy, we started playing bass onto it. I was listening to 70s, 80s on the way to the studio that day and had this funk beat in my head and this song took a life of its own really, we just made up a concept of a sexy night out.”

The 3:18 clip sees the barely blonde beauty working his little socks off in between producing and recording the single as well as rehearsals for upcoming performances at shows he’s set to feature at.

Look at him. All these years and he’s still as adorable as ever. Never change, Niall. Never change.

The single instantly hit No.1 in 44 countries and top 5 in 66 countries on iTunes and was also the No.1 most-added song on the radio in the U.S. and Australia last week, along with being added to Radio 1 and Capital FM playlists back in the U.K.

It’s also recently been announced that Nialler will be performing at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball in Wembley, London and the iHeart Canada Much Music Video Awards in Toronto.

The former boybander is currently working hard on his solo album debut, which doesn’t have long to go! Speaking to The Sun, Niall said, “I wrote like 70 songs and I’ve whittled it down to about 16 at the minute. The album’s nearly finished, this weekend I’m recording the last two, then it’ll be a case of sitting down, listening to production stuff and sitting with the mixer and finishing it off, then I’m ready to go!”  We can hardly wait.
