A few months after dropping “Butter,” a strong candidate for song of the summer, BTS is betting on a new English single to secure their post on the charts after spending six weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with “Butter.”

“Permission to Dance” has Ed Sheeran working on the lyrics along with Steve Mac, Johnny McDaid, and Jenna Andrews. Ed dropped a few hints that he had worked with BTS on a new song in interviews, and the singer even spoiled the song title while answering fans’ questions on Instagram.

Singing and dancing in front of a laundromat in the middle of the desert dressed as cowboys, the BTS members are having a lot of fun with the lyrics that mention Elton John and being dancing fools. BTS also dance using sign language as part of the choreography.

Near the end of the movie video, we can see kids, teens, and adults removing their masks, giving a feeling of freedom and hope that life is almost back to what it used to be.

BTS gave us another fun track to spend summer dancing along with them, and we couldn’t be obsessing more over it!
