Whenever Niall starts a tweet with “Hello Lovers!” you know you’re in for something good. And that’s exactly what he did today, announcing the release of a new version of his June 2023 album The Show.

The Show: The Encore will drop digitally first on November 3, followed six months later by vinyl and CD versions on April 5, 2024. It will include nine new tracks in addition to the original album’s 10 tracks (which included the hit singles “Heaven” and “Meltdown”).

A new version of “You Could Start a Cult” featuring Lizzy McAlpine, which drops October 27, will be one of those nine additional tracks on The Show: The Encore

“I’ve been a huge fan of [Lizzy McAlpine] for a while now,” Niall said in his tweet, “and am so grateful she was able to hop on the song and write a special new verse.”

John Legend, Niall’s fellow judge on The Voice, will feature on a fresh version of the original album’s title track, “The Show.”

Niall also revealed that the cover of Tears for Fears’ “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” that he performs during his festival sets will be on The Show: The Encore.

“There’s also some versions of the songs I did with Vevo and a preview of some live performances I did at a Spotify event right before the album came out,” he hinted.

CD and vinyl versions of The Show: The Encore are available for pre-order now, including a bundle with a special 72-page hardcover book that includes over 100 photos. See the full tracklist below.
