NCT DREAM will be your favourite 90s boy band, thanks to the new set of concept photos for Beatbox.

NCT DREAM are bringing back the 90s boy band and teen magazine vibes with the ‘SUGAR DREAM POP’ concept photos.

NCT DREAM are set to perform a series of concert in Asia in the following weeks, starting in Jakarta at Allo Bank Festival 2022 on May 20, in the Philippines at Begin Again: KPOP Edition 2022 on May 29, and in Seoul at SBS Dream Concert on June 18.

NCT DREAM’s Beatbox will be released on May 30 (6 pm KST).

NCT DREAM are keen to bring their beatbox everywhere they go. The group have just made their upcoming single ‘Beatbox’ available on TikTok, inviting fans to create their videos using the track and the dedicated hashtags.

‘Beatbox’ is the title track of Beatbox, the repackage of NCT DREAM’s second full-length album, Glitch Mode. Beatbox will be released on May 30 and features a total of 15 tracks, including four new songs, the title track ‘Beatbox’, ‘마지막 인사 (To My First)’, ‘Sorry, Heart'(쏘리, 하트), ‘별 밤 (On the way)’, and the 11 songs from Glitch Mode.‘Beatbox’ has been described as an old-school hip-hop song that relies on beatbox, and its lyrics express a positive and joyful message in true NCT DREAM spirit and vibe.

NCT DREAM have shared a variety of content and teasers across their social media channels – particularly on Instagram and TikTok, where fans can see the members hang out in the ‘DREAM SQUAD STUDIO’ where the magic happens.

 

 

 

In addition to ‘Beatbox’, the song ‘Sorry, Heart'(쏘리, 하트) has been presented as an R&B ballad with minimal jazz guitar sound and mature vocals from Renjun, Haechan and Chenle. For this song, the songwriter Kenzie – who has worked with NCT DREAM on ‘Chewing Gum’, ‘We Young’, ‘We Go Up’ and ‘Hello Future’ – has taken part in writing and composing the song.

‘별 밤 (On the way)’ is an R&B pop song with an emotional synth keyboard sound and a rich vocal chorus that creates a sentimental atmosphere. ‘마지막 인사 (To My First)’ is described as an R&B-pop song with impressive electric guitar sound, with lyrics expressing the feelings of true love and with Mark’s narration adding a more mature atmosphere. This song will continue the first love series introduced by NCT DREAM with the singles “My First and Last”, “Bye My First” and “Love Again”.

NCT DREAM’s Beatbox will be released on May 30 at 6 pm KST.

NCT DREAM are making their comeback on May 30 with Beatbox, the repackage of their second full-length album Glitch Mode.

Beatbox will be released on May 30 and features a total of 15 tracks, including four new songs, the title track ‘Beatbox’, ‘마지막 인사 (To My First)’, ‘Sorry, Heart'(쏘리, 하트), ‘별 밤 (On the way)’, and the 11 songs from Glitch Mode.

On May 9, the group unveiled the schedule poster for the upcoming release; starting May 14, the group will begin releasing teaser content such as teaser images, album details and music video teasers across their official social media with dedicated hashtags.

Beatbox comes two months after the release of NCT DREAM’s successful second full-length album Glitch Mode. The album surpassed the 2.1 million copies sold in its first week of release, making the group a double million-seller. The album topped Korea’s daily album chart, debuted No.1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, and achieved No.1 on the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 28 countries, including Denmark, Hong Kong, India, Japan, and Thailand. It also topped QQ Music’s digital album chart in China, while both the album and its title track hit No. 1 on Line Music’s Top 100 charts in Japan.

NCT DREAM’s Beatbox will be released on May 30 at 6 pm KST.
