JAY B and Youngjae have teamed up for a new single.
On August 24, the pair revealed that they had worked together on the song ‘Closer’, the first part of the official soundtrack for the new Korean Drama Good Job.
The single comes with an official music video in which we can see scenes from the drama and moments with JAY B and Youngjae while recording the song and enjoying each other’s company.
In the song, ‘Closer’, JAY B and Youngjae sing about the relationship between the main characters Eun Seonwoo and Don Sera as they start to fall in love with each other as they investigate crimes. Good Job follows the joint investigation and romance story of a chaebol (Eun Sun Woo) who leads a second life as a detective and a woman with super vision (Don Se Ra). While Don Se Ra takes on numerous odd jobs to help the people around her, she meets Eun Sun Woo and begins a chaotic love story.
JAY B released his latest single, ‘Rocking Chair’, on August 23, while Youngjae released his second EP, SUGAR, on June 21. JAY B and Youngjae with the rest of GOT7’s members, made a comeback as a group with their long await self-titled EP in May, the first one since their departure from JYP Entertainment.
