She's officially a triple threat

Addison Rae has surprised fans by releasing her debut single ‘Obsessed’. The TikTok star, who’s mostly known for her dancing skills, is now officially a triple threat as she launches her music career.

The catchy pop song, which was produced by Benny Blanco, sees Addison sing about self-love and independence. The song (plus a *fire* choreographed music video) was dropped with no prior warning – leading many fans to praise Addison for not ‘overhyping’ the release.

“I wanted to find out who I was as an artist before I put something out into the world,” she explains in a Vogue interview. “It’s going to be exciting to share something I’ve loved my entire life with the world and hopefully surprise people who didn’t realise this was a part of who I am.”

‘Obsessed’ was released through independent label Sandlot Records, but Addison is expected to put out more music soon – and if the fan reaction is anything to go by, we’re sure she’ll have record labels fighting to sign her in no time.

It seems there’s no end to Addison’s talents as she was recently cast in the lead role of Netflix’s upcoming adaption of the classic ’90s film She’s All That.

Did you love the song as much as us? Tune in to The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to see Addison perform ‘Obsessed’ for the first time on Friday 26th March.
