As Taylor Swift continues her journey of releasing re-recorded versions of her records, the release of Red (Taylor’s Version) has finally arrived and so has her short film for her song “All Too Well.”

Just like she did with Fearless (Taylor’s Version), the album continues with the release of songs from the vault, and the highly anticipated release of her song “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” has already received praise from fans.

With the extended version finally here, the short film has finally arrived and emotions are high. Taylor first shared the news of the film last week with a video that showed an empty road with autumn leaves falling and a car then driving by.

The announcement also shared that actors Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf) and Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) would be starring in the short film and that it had also been written and directed by Taylor herself.

And now that the short film has finally been released, the imagery that Taylor has always painted with “All Too Well” comes to life and gives us an inside look at the love and heartache she experienced during this time.

From the scarf and the keys thrown to the ground to the autumn leaves falling and dancing around the kitchen in the refrigerator light, the video captures all the small details that Taylor first shared with us back in 2012.

For this being the first short film that she has ever directed, one thing’s for sure is that Taylor’s eye for detail is not only reserved for her songwriting but also in her film making and if she ever plans to make a visual album, her artistry will be unmatched.
