XG took over Coachella twice and left no doubts about their stardom

XG took over Coachella and we're still not over it

XG lit up both Coachella weekends with mind-blowing choreography, flawless vocals, and a charisma only these Xtraordinary Girls can bring to the stage.

With choreography crafted by none other than Sienna Lalau — the K-pop world’s darling choreographer who also performed live with the group — XG delivered next-level performances packed with precision and stunning visuals. Not even the desert wind, which whisked away Cocona’s umbrella during In The Rain on weekend one, could throw them off. These girls powered through with unmatched energy, giving us more than we could’ve hoped for.

Now let’s talk vocals. With barely any backtrack in their first weekend set, XG stunned the audience with stable, live vocals so good they even sparked lip-sync rumors. But anyone there could tell — it was all them. On weekend two, they ditched the backtrack entirely and delivered clean, steady vocals from start to finish. As the internet says — they were mad mad — and they proved they’re the real deal live.

And those outfits? Intense colors, bold makeup, and signature hairstyles that scream “new XG era.” Juria, Jurin, Maya, Harvey, Hinata, Chisa, and Cocona (with her gorgeous shaved head) showcased their individuality through looks that matched each track in the setlist perfectly.

And the buzz? It didn’t stay in the desert. Social media lit up with praise from both fans and curious newcomers who stumbled upon their set. Longtime ALPHAZ celebrated seeing the group finally take over such a massive stage, while casual festival-goers and first-time listeners took to Twitter to ask, “Wait — who are these girls?”  It’s safe to say that XG didn’t just perform — they made fans out of everyone watching.

My personal highlights? Is This Love (thanks to Maya and that addictive choreo) and, of course, Left Right — my ride-or-die XG favorite since day one. What were your favorite moments from XG’s Coachella sets? And seriously — where do we sign up to see them at more festivals?

I was one of those casual viewers who was absolutely blown away by this group. Where did they come from and why haven’t I heard of them before.

XG was one of the suprise highlights of the festival. No wonder why Couchella had them as the festival closer. They remind me of TLC here actually. Which apparently, no suprise are huge inspirations for the group.

I hope they come back next year yet on a bigger stage. XG ate the stage & earned their debut performance here at Couchella!!
