According to their PR, One Direction will be releasing an “immersive and exciting interactive fan experience” in the form of a 10 Years of One Direction website on July 23, 2020.
There will also be brand new video content and interactive playlists.
The website will feature a One Direction timeline — from The X Factor audition all the way through to the hiatus — with an archive of music videos, artwork, TV performances, and behind-the-scenes and rarely-seen content. The ultimate one-stop-shop for fans.
Fans can create and personalize mixtapes and then connect them to their Spotify and Apple Music accounts. On streaming platforms, you’ll be able to experience reformatted EPs featuring b-sides and rare songs, remixes, live recordings, and acoustic versions of tracks. Ask Amazon’s Alexa to sing “Happy Birthday” to the group!
