Taylor Swift announces The Eras Tour concert film

Didn't get tickets? You can now experience the full concert

It was a cruel summer for those who didn’t manage to get tickets to Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, but now fans can get to experience the magic of the 3-hour show from the comfort of a movie theatre.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film, a theatrical concert experience, will open at AMC Theatres across North America on Friday October 13th. Tickets are priced at $19.89, a not-so-subtle nod to her upcoming re-recorded album 1989 (Taylor’s Version) coming October 27th.

Despite only being a third of the way through its run, The Eras Tour was attended by more than three million people during the first US leg. Not only did it shatter all concert sales records, it also left tens of millions of adoring fans wanting more, either because they attended the concert and wanted to see
it again, or after being unable to obtain tickets for the sold-out shows.

Currently, the film is expected to be shown in US, Canada and Mexico theatres. International fans will likely have to wait for it to be released on streaming, but thankfully Taylor is taking The Eras Tour international with dates in South America later this year, followed by Australia, Asia and Europe/UK in 2024.
