Almost no one noticed the subtle tribute Katy Perry wore for the 22 we lost in the Manchester Attacks

We at UBP HQ are still on an emotional high from last night’s ‘One Love Manchester’ – but we’re also pretty baffled that we, along with pretty much the rest of the world, didn’t notice the tribute from Katy Perry to the 22 victims we lost in the Manchester Attacks.

We all saw her bold and beautiful feather jacket that she wore at the beginning of her performance, but when Katy took it off, it revealed a dress.

Look closer…

The detail of the dress is made up of the photos of those we lost from the Manchester Attacks.

Her dress wasn’t the only thing moving about Katy’s performance, as she also gave a touching speech.

“It’s not easy to always choose love, is it? Especially in moments like these. It can be the most difficult thing to do. But love conquers fear and love conquers hate. And that love that you choose will give you strength.”

We salute you, Katy Perry, for your beautiful tribute and aim to ensure that those victims we sadly lost were kept in the centre of the benefit concert.

Katy was one of the many stars invited by Ariana Grande to perform at Old Trafford in Manchester last night as a benefit concert where 100% of the proceeds went to the ‘We Love Manchester Emergency Fund’ by the Red Cross. The emotional night, joined by other acts such as Niall Horan, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, raised a whopping £10 million, with more than £2.5 million raised during the concert, Manchester Evening News Reports.
