BTS’s single “Butter” dropped in May and claimed a lot of No. 1s, including on the Hot 100 chart. Their second English single is definitely a huge success, and now that they’ve added Megan Thee Stallion in the mix, there’s no doubt that “Butter” will be claiming a lot of new chart positions.
The journey to the release of the song wasn’t easy, as Meg had to fight her label that was trying to stop the collaboration from dropping. The rapper had to go to court to get a judge’s permission to release the song with BTS.
In the end, it all worked out, and both fan bases were thrilled to learn the collaboration was dropping. But no one was more excited than Megan herself. The rapper tweeted about how excited she was about the remix and interacted with many ARMYs who were creating fanart on Instagram and on Twitter.
