MiC LOWRY’s ‘Oh Lord’ video has finally been unveiled

A few weeks ago I wrote about the release of MiC LOWRY’s debut single ‘Oh Lord’ ,and now they’ve released a music video for the single. As you probably already know, the Liverpudlian band are supporting Justin Bieber on the European leg of his ‘Purpose’ tour. The single had its global premiere on the Scott Mills show on BBC Radio 1, and has racked up over half a million streams on Spotify. I’m sure now that the video has been revealed, it won’t be long before the views will match (if not top) the amount of streams the single has had so far.

I feel that the video really suits their style and although it includes dancers, it doesn’t distract us from their lovely faces and above all else, their amazing vocals.

The boys have just finished their sold-out headline UK tour and have already treated fans in Copenhagen with their impressive harmonies. Needless to say, I am very excited to see them perform in a couple of weeks time.

It’s been an exciting time all round this week really hasn’t it? New music and videos dropping left right and centre. Here’s a few of the other great music videos that we’ve all been treated to.

The Weeknd

Well, this is a pretty interesting video, don’t you think? The song is the title track for his latest album and shows him shedding his former persona (and his old pineapple shaped do) and reforming into his new look. His new style definitely suits him, although there’s no escaping that distinctive voice.  The music video itself has also been nominated for Best Video at the MTV EMAs.

The Pretty Reckless

The track has recently charted at Number 1 in the Rock Radio chart, and has marked the band’s fourth consecutive Number 1 single. After what seems like a long wait, the band finally released the music video for the track. Needless to say, they have not left fans disappointed. What’s not to love about a black and white video? Momsen’s vocals are on top form as ever. This single is the first track from their upcoming album ‘Who You Selling For’ which is due out later this month.

Bastille – Send Them Off

I have to admit, their album has been as awesome as the way they revealed its track listings. This is the second single from their Number one album ‘Wild World’ following their debut single ‘Good Grief’ and the video is epic as you can see.

Niall – This Town

Finally, the most surprising video release – not only of this week, but of this year. If you’re a 1D fan, you probably let out a huge scream when he tweeted to announce his debut single. This was obviously followed by an even bigger scream when you heard the track. That’s what I did anyway. I have watched this music video on repeat since it was released and still can’t believe what I am seeing and hearing. It’s everything I could have hoped for, and more.
