New Year, New Miley

The new Miley Cyrus era is officially upon us.

Yesterday, Miley released “Flowers”, the first single from her upcoming eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation.

The track finds Miley reflecting on self-love and courage with her lyrics, “Started to cry / But then I remembered / I can buy myself flowers / Write my name in the sand” before she powerfully sings, “I can love me better than you can.”

The entire song is an instant bop that beautifully showcases Miley’s raspy vocals and extraordinary range. We dare you not to dance along with the groovy baselines and self-empowering lyrics.

We also got the best of both worlds as a music video was also dropped for “Flowers.” Created by Miley and directed by Jacob Bixenman, we find the singer in a number of captivating, glamorous outfits while she dances around Los Angeles.

Miley previously announced the release of “Flowers” during her Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party on December 31st. She also announced that Endless Summer Vacation will drop on March 10th. In a press release, she said that her upcoming album is a “love letter to LA.”
