The South Korean girl group Blackpink is known all around because of the amazing hits they’ve shared with the world. “Kill This Love” and “How You Like That” are record-breaking examples of their success.

Talented women recognise other talented women, and Blackpink’s talents did not go unnoticed by these four amazing female artists: Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Cardi B and Selena Gomez have all crossed paths with Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo and Rose. Together, they made incredible tunes happen.

Blackpink & Dua Lipa

Blackpink’s first collaboration happened in 2018. The girl group featured on Dua Lipa’s song “Kiss and Make Up” from her self-titled debut album. Singing about a relationship that’s about to end, this dance-pop track shows the best of Dua and Blackpink’s music.

Blackpink & Lady Gaga

2020 was a huge year for Blackpink. In the first half of the year, Lady Gaga announced that the group would feature on a track in her album Chromatica. “Sour Candy” is an electronic pop tune that uses candy as metaphors for how they behave in a relationship. The song mixes both English and Korean, and it is definitely a bop.

Blackpink & Selena Gomez

The second half of 2020 gave Blinks two other huge collabs. “Ice Cream” featuring Selena Gomez dropped in August and even got a bubbly music video. The song was written by Selena herself and a huge team that includes Ariana Grande in the mix. It was released as Blackpink’s second single for their latest studio album The Album.

Blackpink & Cardi B

The other huge collab they had in the second half of last year was “Bet You Wanna” with Cardi B. The song is about offering a good time to a significant other and getting them hooked. The rapper mentioned how hard it was for her to write something PG and with no curse words in it — but in the end, it was worth it, since we now have this amazing collab with the best of both acts.

Blackpink certainly has the recipe for success, and they’re not afraid to add some great artists to the mix. Hopefully, we’ll get to witness more of Blackpink collaborating with some more incredible artists (and powerful women).
