YA books

Hush, Hush | Book by Becca Fitzpatrick | Official Publisher Page | Simon & Schuster UKHush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
The OG bad boy fallen angel romance is back! Hush, Hush is being reissued in 2025 and honestly, it feels like the perfect time. Patch is still broody, Nora is still caught up in all kinds of supernatural chaos, and we are still here for it (we think?). Whether you were obsessed with this series back in the day or you’re meeting it for the first time, this reissue is a fun throwback to peak YA paranormal vibes. Don’t take it seriously and you will have a grand time.

Book cover of Vampire Academy (book 1) by Richelle Mead

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

We recently recommended a bunch of vampire books that are released this year but we’re now going all the way back to one of the most iconic vampire series of the 2000s. Vampire Academy is getting a reissue in 2025 and we are so excited to reread this series. We are always keen to read books set in an academia setting, and full of political intrigue, so Vampire Academy is one of our favourite series. We also actually really enjoyed the movie but that’s a discussion for another day…

The Ruling ClassThe Ruling Class by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Jennifer Lynn Barnes is the queen of twisty YA mysteries but like we said in our guide to Jennifer Lynn Barnes reprints, her earlier series are equally, if not more, amazing. The Ruling Class is being reissued in 2025, and it follows Tess as she gets sent to live with her sister, who is a “fixer” for the government — making issues and scandals go away. This series really demonstrates what Jennifer Lynn Barnes works best at, and it’s the psychology of people.

Raised by Wolves - Raised by Wolves (Paperback)Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Another early Jennifer Lynn Barnes series is making its return! Raised by Wolves is a little different from the rest of her books — it’s all about werewolves, pack hierarchies, and what happens when a human girl ends up caught in the middle of it all. The 2025 reissue means a whole new wave of readers will get to meet Bryn and her fiercely loyal (and occasionally terrifying) pack.  Even though this series feels different than the rest of her books, it still has all the signature JLB elements we love — sharp character dynamics, moral gray areas, and that perfect blend of heart and danger. And remember, for other JLB backlist, visit our guide here.

We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal - Pan MacmillanWe Hunt the Flame & We Free the Stars by Hafsah Faizal

We are so excited that the Sands of Arawiya duology is getting reissued together because it truly deserves all the love. Hafsah Faizal’s world-building is rich and immersive, full of deserts, shadows, and ancient magic, and her lyrical writing still sweeps us away every single time. Zafira and Nasir’s story is equal parts adventure, heartbreak, and slow-burn romance, and it hits just as hard on a reread (maybe even harder, now that we know what’s coming).

Vendetta

Vendetta by Catherine Doyle

Romeo and Juliet, but make it modern-day mafia families in Chicago. Vendetta is Catherine Doyle’s YA debut, and it’s coming back in 2025 with a fresh reissue. It’s fast-paced, dramatic, and full of star-crossed tension — basically everything you want in a forbidden romance. We binge read the entire series in one day, and it was so worth it. The stakes are high, the twists are wild, and there’s just the right mix of danger, family secrets, and chemistry. If you loved her The City of Fantome series or Twin Crowns, this is your chance to see where it all started.

Adult books

Daughter of No Worlds by Carissa Broadbent - Pan MacmillanDaughter of No Worlds by Carissa Broadbent
Carissa Broadbent has been everywhere thanks to The Serpent and the Wings of Night, but her Daughter of No Worlds trilogy is also finally getting the attention it deserves. The 2025 reissue means even more readers can discover Tisaanah and Max, and the mix of romance, magic, and rebellion that makes this series so addictive. Sword Catcher by Cassandra Clare - Pan Macmillan

Sword Catcher by Cassandra Clare

Cassandra Clare’s first adult fantasy novel only came out in 2023, but it’s already getting a shiny new reissue in 2025. The cover has gone through a few subtle changes, but the story itself remains just as captivating. Sword Catcher is a lush and intricate tale filled with political intrigue, forbidden love, and a world that feels completely immersive. If you loved the Shadowhunter universe, this is Cassie at her most expansive, and the reissue makes it the perfect time to dive in if you missed it the first time around.

Book cover for UprootedUprooted by Naomi Novik

It’s hard to believe Uprooted came out almost a decade ago, but the 2025 reissue is here to remind us just how magical this standalone is. The new edition comes with a striking cover redesign featuring the iconic tower where the Dragon lives. With its fairytale atmosphere, a grumpy-sorcerer-meets-unexpected-apprentice dynamic, and Naomi Novik’s gorgeous prose, Uprooted feels just as fresh and enchanting now as it did when it first came out. And if you’ve read her Scholomance trilogy, you’ll love seeing where that signature blend of wit and wonder first began.

The Bridge Kingdom - The Bridge Kingdom (Paperback)The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle L. Jensen

The 2025 reissue of The Bridge Kingdom comes with a gorgeous new cover that really brings the story to life, hinting at the political intrigue and high-stakes adventure inside. For anyone who hasn’t read it yet, this is the perfect excuse to finally meet Lara and King Aren, whom she is meant to kill. Danielle L. Jensen’s writing is sharp, full of clever twists, and she has such a knack for building worlds that feel both dangerous and intoxicating. Expect strong heroines, enemies-to-lovers tension, and political machinations that keep you hooked until the very last page. Book 6 of the series, The Tempest Blade, will come out next year, so now’s the perfect time to start the series if you haven’t already!

Book cover of Entity by Meg Smitherman

Entity by Meg Smitherman

Entity is getting a 2025 reissue, and it’s easy to see why. Kit Fox gets a chance to interview the reclusive billionaire Ian De Leon, only to be drawn into a dangerous and mysterious situation involving his unpredictable Prototype. Dark, atmospheric, and full of suspense, this paranormal romance promises twists and high stakes from start to finish.

Chasing The Wild

Chasing the Wild by Elliott Rose

Chasing the Wild is getting a 2025 reissue, bringing this steamy age-gap cowboy romance back into the spotlight. Layla Birch, a veterinary student, finds herself snowed in at a remote mountain ranch with Colton Wilder — her ex-boyfriend’s father. As the days pass, the tension between them builds, leading to a forbidden attraction that neither can ignore. With themes of forced proximity, slow-burn chemistry, and a brooding cowboy hero, this book delivers high-stakes romance set against a rugged, wintry backdrop.
