On Our Watchlist: Logan, The Founder, Madea and more


We’re storming through the new year, and more tv and film goodness is appearing here, there and everywhere. ‘Logan’, the last Hugh Jackman ‘Wolverine’ film has a new campaign that’s involving fans from across the globe. ‘The Founder’ trailer was finally released, ‘Irreplaceable’ is hitting cinemas and Madea’s ‘Halloween’ is finally released on DVD.

Fans of the ‘Wolverine’ series are in the for a treat this week, special gifts will be appearing in the post regarding Logan. Over the next week, fans from all over the globe will receive a special item in the post, an exclusive frame showcasing the highly anticipated upcoming film ‘Logan’.

‘The Founder’ Trailer – New Clip

A new trailer has premiered for the Michael Keaton fronted movie, ‘The Founder’. The Founder’s trailer shows the story of Ray Kroc’s acquisition of the billion dollar McDonald’s fast food chain. The film is directed by John Lee Hancock who’s previous films include ‘The Blind Side’ and ‘Saving Mr Banks’. I’m excited for this!

Cinematic Release of ‘Irreplaceable’ 

‘Irreplaceable’ was released this Friday and I could not be more happy about it. The heartfelt story depicts a well-respected countryside doctor, who finds out he’s fighting a severe illness and must find a replacement for his position. This French-language film will play in Ciné Lumière starting from Friday 13th January, tickets can be booked here.

‘Trespass Against Us’ – New UK Trailer and Poster

A new trailer and poster has emerged for the Michael Fassbender fronted thriller ‘Trespass Against Us’. The film is slated for a March 3rd UK cinematic release date. The film tells the story of Fassbender’s character debating to go against his father’s bidding and start a new life as a clean man. With heaps of father/son drama amidst a great cast that includes Brendan Gleeson. This is a must-watch.

Tyler Perry’s ‘BOO! A Madea Halloween’

A huge hit this past Halloween was the next instalment of Tyler Perry’s ‘Madea’ film series. The film also stars Bella Thorne. Giving them all a piece of her mind (and fists), Madea must maintain order and sanity as she spends a hilarious, haunted Halloween night fighting off goons and goblins. The DVD/Blu-Ray is released on February 6th,

‘Life on the Line’ – John Travolta Film DVD/Digital Release Date.

‘Life on the Line’ sees Golden Globe winning John Travolta in one of his most interesting roles of recent memory. It’s a deadly race against the clock for John Travolta’s character to fix miles of high-wire cable before lightning destroys the power grid and everything in its path. The film also stars Sharon Stone and who doesn’t like Sharon Stone? The film is released on digital platforms February 20th and DVD February 27th.

Official Trailer release for ‘Their Finest’ starring Sam Claflin

‘Their Finest’ is based on Lissa Evans’ novel, ‘Their Finest Hour and a Half’. The trailer shows a witty, romantic and moving portrayal of a young woman finding her way, and her voice, in the mayhem of war… and the movies. It looks like it could be a huge hit when it opens in cinemas on April 21st.

‘The Girl With All The Gifts’ – Home Release

‘The Girl With All The Gifts’ is a deep,* all the feels* zombie thriller, taking place 10 years after a devastating plague has decimated Britain. The film stars Gemma Arterton and Glenn Close. ‘The Girl With All The Gifts’ is released on January 23rd.
