We’re halfway through September and this is my favourite time of the year. Why? Because all my fave shows start to return and those cliffhangers will finally get a resolution. Is this just me? Surely not.
I know there’s a ton of shows to watch over the coming weeks but don’t panic. I’ve listed my top five shows you need to watch to help you, you’re welcome.
AMERICAN HORROR STORY
If the mystery surrounding the theme of season 6 isn’t enough to get you to watch, this story might link back to the past seasons. You cannot miss it. Also Evan Peters, hi. Season 6 premiered Sept 14th.
SCREAM QUEENS
The quotes are to die for. The cast is to die for. The sheer stupidity of it all is to die for. It’s such a guilty pleasure, as if you don’t watch it. Season 2 premieres Sept 20th.
EMPIRE
Cookie Lyon. Enough said. She is the show. So much shit went down in last season’s finale. If you haven’t watched it, binge it now. Season 3 premieres Sept 21st.
GREY’S ANATOMY
12 years and still going strong. I just can’t help but continue watching Meredith’s journey. Also will DeLuca survive? Season 13 premieres Sept 22nd.
CRIMINAL MINDS
With the addition of Adam Rodriguez as Luke Alvez, Paget Brewster returning on a permanent basis and the firing of Thomas Gibson (Aaron Hotchner), this season looks like it’ll be one not to be missed. Especially with 13 serial killers escaping prison at the end of the last season. Season 12 premieres Sept 28th.
