6. Daisy Jones and the Six Series Premiere

One of the best trends to come out of the past few years has definitely been the surge of avid readers. BookTok’s love for author Taylor Jenkins Reid gave us this highly anticipated series and we can’t thank it enough. Starring Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, and Suki Waterhouse, Daisy Jones and the Six tells the tale of a ’70s chart-topping band spilling the details of their breakup decades later (think fictional Fleetwood Mac.) Season 2 will be adapted mostly from the second novel in the hit Leigh Bardugo trilogy, Siege and Storm, but will include some of the final book as well as elements from Bardugo’s duology Six of Crows. The breakout star of 2021 that had Twitter and Reddit users circulating theories and reaction memes is set to return and fans are already trying to guess the plot twists that are sure to be around the corner. After a high school soccer team’s plane crashes in the wilderness with no sign of rescue, it is implied that the survivors turn to cannibalism.
