Thomas Day’s music career is only going up from here. Over the past four years, with his Daydreamers, he has been creating emotionally captivating music and relatable lyrics. Among his most beloved tracks from recent EPs are fan favorites like “Underwear,” “Broken Glasses,” and “Sleep When We’re Dead.” With each release, Thomas continues to evolve and prove himself as a powerful voice in pop, consistently sharpening his songwriting and deepening his connection with fans.

Concertgoers may recognize him as the opening act for Joshua Bassett and The Driver Era, but listening to his recorded music offers a different experience. His earlier songs are slower-tempo ballads with deeper, more direct meanings. As he matures, however, Daydreamers may notice an evolution in his sound, lyrics, and vocal style.

While opening for The Driver Era, Thomas Day teased his track “Beg,” which fans quickly pushed to viral status on social media. The song begins with blaring horns, evoking the sounds of a marching band before Thomas’s rich, commanding vocals take over. His growth since the Angel Boy era is clear in both his tone and lyrical delivery. Packed with energy and maturity, the release of “Beg” leaves listeners wanting more.

‘You got it all / All the things I want / Want to be involved / Let me take it off / Biting my tongue / I feel it in my chest / I have to confess / You’re a specimen.’

The music video accompanying the track is breathtaking and surprising. The opening scene features a woman wearing shiny, pointy black heels and a leopard lace one-piece lingerie. And then Boom! The camera pans over to a close-up of Thomas’ face. The female co-star suddenly pulls out a knife from a drawer while Thomas keeps singing. From that point on, the roles are reversed—but the chemistry between the two actors remains electric, surprising fans in the wildest ways as Thomas drops to the floor like a lion on all fours. As a viewer, you might get goosebumps just listening to the song, and then experiencing the music video in real time is another experience that will blow your mind.

“Beg” is only the beginning of Thomas’ new era as a pop star. He has moved on from writing about heartbreak and falling out of love with someone. Today, he is known as the pop star that everyone wants to learn about. This new chapter of his music career will bring many new surprises, including an album that he has been teasing his Daydreamers.

You can listen to “Beg” on all streaming platforms now.
