On April 20, 2020, Niall Horan revealed his fourth and final single from his second album Heartbreak Weather — second track “Black and White.” This follows his three previous singles, “Nice to Meet Ya,” “Put A Little Love On Me” and “No Judgement.”
Through a series of old black and white film screenshots and videos, Niall teased his upcoming single before posting to announce it. The single is ushered in by a lyric video that features footage of Niall behind the scenes during his album photoshoot and at various gigs earlier in the year.

The news of the new single is bittersweet for Niall fans, as his Nice to Meet Ya World Tour was supposed to kick off on April 20 in Nashville, Tennessee, but has been canceled due to COVID-19. Despite the disappointing but necessary circumstances, Niall remains optimistic and excited to share music with fans. “Black and White” is one of many upbeat and heartfelt songs on Heartbreak Weather and an excellent reminder that things have a funny way of working out when we least expect them to.
