Including an amazing new cover.

Niall has been really busy lately, preparing for touring and his upcoming sophomore album.

Throughout the past weeks, he’s been pretty active with lots of Heartbreak Weather promo, but we definitely didn’t see this surprise coming. Today marks Niall’s SECOND time recording exclusive versions of two songs for Spotify Singles. The last time this happened was at RAK Studios in December of 2017! This time he recorded at Air Studios in London.

Niall delivered an exclusive live version of his single, ‘No Judgement’, and (as usual for Spotify Singles sessions) an exclusive cover. This time around, he chose the song ‘Lover’ by Taylor Swift – and included his musician friend FLETCHER in the track. (Along with Lewis Capaldi, FLETCHER will be supporting Niall on his upcoming, Nice To Meet Ya Tour.) What if FLETCHER and Niall actually perform THIS song on the new tour?! On Niall’s last Spotify Singles session visit, he covered his own One Direction song, ‘Fool’s Gold’. Then, during his Flicker World Tour, ‘Fool’s Gold’ was on the setlist every night! Based off this evidence, it’s a total possibility.

(Also, just gonna throw this out there: Niall dropped in as a surprise guest performer, during Taylor Swift’s Reputation Tour in 2018.)

He’s obviously a big fan and friend of Taylor’s, so… Could she possibly return the favor during his tour? We’ll have to wait and see! If you don’t already have tickets to the Nice To Meet Ya Tour, you can get them here.
