Niall Horan made his return to the music scene this week with ‘Heaven’ which is his first solo single in almost three years. To coincide with the single, Niall has announced his third studio album The Show is due to be released on 9th June.
Niall shared a post on his social media accounts announcing the news of the eagerly anticipated album to his excited fans. Entering a new era of his career, Niall promises fans that The Show is going to be different to any music that he’s put out before.
Niall’s debut album Flicker and sophomore album Heartbreak Weather both soared in the charts and there’s no doubt that The Show is predicted to do the same. The new album is said to be 60s/70s inspired which is a different angle than his previous two albums.
His latest single, ‘Heaven’, was released last Friday and marks the start of his new era. Niall said of the single: “There’s so much pressure for people to hit certain milestones by a certain age – you get married at this age, buy a house at that age, have kids at some other age. But I’ve never conformed to those ideas, and so I wanted to write about how we all should just focus on enjoying our lives and doing what feels right, instead of worrying about what might be expected of us.”
Following the announcement of his new album and the release of his single, Niall is due to appear on several TV talk shows including The Kelly Clarkson Show and has just appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
