The 14-time Grammy winner has been relatively reserved with his music releases. Before collaborating with Baby Keem for the song ‘Family Ties’, Lamar had not released any new music since making DAMN and contributing to the widely successful Black Panther album back in 2017. Geez, five years have felt like an eternity.
