Clear your calendars. Dig your leather trousers out of the back of your wardrobe. Resume your quest to grow your hair as long as possible in the hope that you might finally be recognised as the 4th Haim sister. Our favourite sister-trio just dropped major news, after gifting us with ‘Relationships‘ (which has been stuck in our head since the 15-second teaser landed on TikTok), they’ve finally let us in on the secret: their 4th studio album, ‘I quit’, which lands on June 20th.
To celebrate, they’re blessing the UK with a one-off headline show at Dreamland Margate on June 27th. We always knew Haim Summer was on the horizon – but Haim Dreamland is going to be epic. After visiting the venue for the first time last year to see Busted, we were blown away by the atmosphere, the gorgeous vintage decor, and the ease of getting a good view from pretty much anywhere in the open-air space. With ‘I quit’ released just a few days before on June 20th, this will be the first time we get to hear some new songs live from the new album.
If you can’t make it down to the Kent coast to witness Haim in the sunshine, don’t worry. After soaking up the sun in Margate, Haim are hitting the road for a full UK arena tour with dates in Nottingham, Cardiff, Brighton, London, Manchester and Glasgow. Pre-ordering ‘I quit’ before 29th April at 12pm BST will give you the best chance of nabbing tickets in the pre-sale. Otherwise, you’ll have to fight like it’s The Hunger Games all over again in the general sale on Friday, May 2nd.
Whether you’re heading to Haim Dreamland and hoping to catch some rays, or heading to see them on their Autumn arena tour, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Haim – and I can’t think of a more deserving band.
