It’s been four long years since Charlie Puth released his album, Voicenotes. However, the wait is finally over because just yesterday, the Grammy-nominated singer announced his forthcoming third studio album, Charlie is set to release on October 7.

In between albums, Charlie has become quite the TikTok sensation with 17.9 million followers. Using this to his advantage, Puth teased his now critically acclaimed first single, “Light Switch” which garnered more than 449 million streams globally.

His latest release from his upcoming album, “Left and Right (Feat. Jung Kook of BTS)” was Charlie’s highest debut at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

Along with this announcement, Charlie wrote on Instagram that, “This album was born on the internet, and I’ve had so much fun making it in front of all of you this past year. 2019 me used to think that in order to be an artist, you had to hide away and talk to nobody to make your art. Turns out that you make MUCH better art when you involve millions of people in the process. (For me at least.) I hope you scream cry every word when I sing these songs on tour because they wouldn’t be here without you. Thank you. CHARLIE-out October 7th, 2022.”

If you can’t wait before October 7, you can probably find Charlie posting more videos on TikTok.
