Sometimes all you need is a soft and tender ballad to get you through your days, and last week, 5 Seconds of Summer released their latest single, ‘Older (featuring Sierra Deaton).’
A complete shift from the pop-rock sound fans are used to hearing, the new single is a sweet ballad produced by Michael Clifford and co-written with Michael Pollack. ‘Older’ also features vocals and co-writing credit Sierra Deaton, finacée of 5SOS’s lead singer Luke Hemmings. The song marks the couple’s first performance on a song together for the first time.

‘Older’ is off of the band’s fifth studio album, 5SOS5, and is set to release on September 23 and will feature 19 tracks, all while showcasing their vibrant sound and thoughtful and personal lyrics.
But on the eve of their new album dropping, 5 Seconds of Summer are set to perform from the Royal Albert Hall in London on September 22 for their exclusive global live stream, The Feeling of Falling Upwards. Tickets for the stream are available to purchase here.
