Just like flowers and cherry blossoms are starting to bloom in South Korea, March 2022 is blooming with major K-Pop comebacks.

With many active K-Pop groups, keeping track of all the comebacks and debuts is a job in itself. This is why we’re here to make sure you won’t miss out on any of the major releases. This March will be an excellent month for all K-Pop fans, with one comeback after the other; fans will indeed have plenty of new music to add to their playlists.

Without further ado, here are the biggest K-Pop comebacks announced for March.

March 8

Sunmi x Spotify ‘Oh Sorry Ya’

Sunmi is teaming up with Spotify to release a new single on International Women’s Day. The singer will release the single ‘Oh Sorry Ya’ for Spotify EQUAL, an initiative the streaming service launched last year to advance equality for women in music and audio.

March 10

P1Harmony ‘Do It Like This (English Version)’

‘Do It Like This (English Version)’ is the English version of the title song ‘Do It Like This’ P1Harmony’s third mini-album, DISHARMONY: FIND OUT, released in January. It is an urban pop-style song featuring an addictive hook.

March 14

(G)I-DLE I Never Die

(G)I-DLE will release their first full-length album titled I Never Die and the title track ‘Tomboy” on March 14 at 6 pm KST. The album features eight tracks, will come in three different colored versions and marks their first comeback since Soojin’s exit from the group.

(G)I-DLE have shared the first music video trailer for the title track ‘Tomboy’. In the movie-style teaser, the group looks fierce and intimidating, while at the end of the trailer walking away from a car on fire.

Kang Seung Yoon (WINNER)

On March 3, Kang Seung Yoon announced with a black and white dramatic poster that he would be making his comeback on March 14 at 6 pm KST with the single ‘BORN TO LOVE YOU’. TREASURE‘s Bang Ye Dam has taken part in the song’s composition and written the lyrics.

Kang Seung Yoon will hold a countdown live to celebrate the release of ‘BORN TO LOVE YOU’ through WINNER’s official YouTube channel from 5 pm on March 14th. During the broadcast, Kang Seung Yoon plans to share a variety of stories, about the new song and behind-the-scenes of the music video.

March 15

NU’EST Needle & Bubble

With this release, which marks the group’s 10th anniversary since its debut, NU’EST will farewell on March 15. NU’EST The Best album – Needle & Bubble is a special album that looks back at the group’s music career.

Moonbin & Sanha (ASTRO) Refuge

Astro’s subunit formed by Moonbin and Sanha will make their comeback with their second mini-album, Refuge, on March 15 at 6 pm KST. The mini-album features five songs, including the title track ‘Who’. The album will also feature the pre-released single ‘Ghost Town’, released in January 2022.

Moonbin and Sanha have tested positive for COVID-19 on March 7, just a week before the release of their new mini-album. Their agency, Fantagio, has said in an official statement that they will make another announcement regarding the upcoming promotions once Moonbin and Sanha complete the quarantine.

Kihyun (MONSTA X) Voyager

MONSTA X’s Kihyun is making his solo debut with the mini-album Voyager on March 15 at 6 pm KST. The EP will contain three singles – ‘VOYAGER’, ‘(COMMA)’, and ‘Rain’ – with the song ‘VOYAGER’ serving as a title track.

March 16

SOLAR (MAMAMOO) 容 : Face

Mamamoo’s leader Solar will release her first EP 容: Face on March 16. The album has been defined as an emotional mini-album that will reveal Solar’s honest self in the form of music. The upcoming album is her first comeback in one year and 11 months since she debuted with ‘Spit It Out’ in April 2020.

A new music video teaser has been revealed, still featuring the gigantic white head, now with a very long black ponytail falling on its side, to reveal that it belongs to Solar, who sits on top of the head.

March 18

Stray Kids Oddinary

Stray Kids are getting ready to drop their 8th Korean mini-album titled Oddinary. This is the first comeback since the release of Noeasy in August 2021. The group has released the mini-album tracklist and a trailer for Oddinary.

The trailer sets the concept to the road of greatness with Felix entering a place called “Ordinary”, where he encounters the other members, who are alternately mysterious and intimidating. Their faces also appear on “missing” posters throughout the trailer. In the end, the “Ordinary” sign flickers to “Oddinary”, posing the question, “Do you want to be ODDINARY?”

Stray Kids have been dropping rounds of teaser images for their upcoming release alongside ‘UNVEIL’ track videos for the tracks ‘VENOM’ and ‘Lonely St.’.

March 21

Red Velvet

Red Velvet will be returning with ‘The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm’ on March 21, as announced on March 2. The group unveiled a tantalizing teaser for the comeback that brings back some of their past releases.

March 22

CRAVITY LIBERTY: In Our Cosmos

CRAVITY have set a new release date for the album LIBERTY: In Our Cosmos and are ready to resume activities. The group had to postpone the album’s release as all nine members tested positive for COVID-19 over the past weeks. They have all completed quarantine measures and are ready to share the new album with their fans!

The group have now started to share concept photos for LIBERTY: In Our Cosmos.

March 23

VERIVERY SERIES O (‘ROUND 0: WHO’)

VERIVERY officially announced that they are coming back in March. The group will be releasing the third installment from the SERIES O titled ‘ROUND 0: WHO’ – the digital single is set to be released on March 23.

SURAN Flyin’Part 1

On March 11, R&B vocalist Suran has announced the release of her mini-album, Flyin Part 1; the singer shared the tracklist revealing who will also be featured on the upcoming release on March 23.

Flyin Part 1 contains six tracks, including ‘Sunny’ – released in 2021 – and ‘Devils In The City’ feat. Dok2 – was released earlier this year. On ‘Diamonds’ NCT’s Taeyong will join the singer. Other tracks are ‘Lucky Star’, ‘Wish I Could’, and ‘Let It Fly’.

March 28

NCT DREAM Glitch Mode

NCT DREAM have unveiled the title and details for their highly anticipated sophomore album, set to be released on March 28.

Titled Glitch Mode, the group will make their first comeback after nine months since the release of Hello Future (June 2021), the repackaged version of their May 2021 debut studio album Hot Sauce.

Possible March Comebacks

T.O.P (BIGBANG)

The moment many 2nd generation K-Pop fans were waiting for might be around the corner. BIGBANG’s T.O.P has announced plans to release a solo album in an interview with the Hong Kong Magazine Prestige.

In an Instagram post, Prestige has announced T.O.P as their March cover story “#TOPISBACK”. According to the caption, Seung Hyun (known as T.O.P) opened up about his five years hiatus, “how his love for art and music have helped him overcome the more difficult periods of his life” and “his new-found passion for changing perceptions of mental health and prepares to reveal his future plans”.

YG Entertainment has previously announced that T.O.P will not renew his contract with YG but will still be part of BIGBANG, and he will join BIGBANG activities any time if he is available.

 

YUGYEOM (GOT7)

YUGYEOM’s mum might have spilled the beans about a possible March release for KYG2. In February, a Chinese Ahgases visited Yugyeom’s mother’s restaurant, Steak Box, and while talking, she let slip that she knew her son would be having a comeback in March.

It has been indeed a while since Ahgases saw the GOT7 maknae. Yugyeom was rather busy in mid-2021 with his solo debut, collaborations, virtual concerts, and magazine photoshoot, but then he disappeared, and KYG2 is a long-awaited comeback.

It’s always worth keeping an eye on K-Pop groups making their comebacks and debuts with Japanese albums. CIX will debit with their first full Japanese album, Pinky Swear, on March 30. Meanwhile, TWICE, who are currently on tour in the US, will make their Japanese comeback on March 16 with their 4th best album titled TWICE4, and Oh My Girl will release OH MY GIRL BEST on March 30.
