They’ve just finished up the American leg of their world tour and now Fifth Harmony are preparing to hit the UK and Europe with ‘7/27’, but who will be their support act?
17-year-old Camryn from Denver, Colorado, will be joining the girls on the road on the European leg of the tour and we have everything you need to know about her before catching her with 5H in a city near you.
1.She’s been a singer since she was 9 years old
Camryn was first signed back in 2008 when she was just 9 years old! Her first single, ‘Wait and See’ was released in 2009, which was actually the title track for the film ‘Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer’.
2.She’s been on tour with One Direction and Cody Simpson
Does her face look familiar to you? That’s because at the age of 13, Camryn was on the road with the biggest boyband on the planet, One Direction. Not too shabby, huh? She performed a few dates on the ‘Up All Night’ North American tour and they loved her so much, they asked her back to tour the whole of the UK & European legs of ‘Take Me Home’ Tour in 2013. She also joined Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance on their ‘Waiting 4U’ tour before joining Greyson again in Asia.
3.She’s got a huge love for female rock stars
Paramore’s Hayley Williams, Avril Lavigne, P!nk and Gwen Stefani are just some of the female artists that Camryn admires and have influenced her music.
4.Her favourite comedian is Kevin Hart
She loves him and his movies.
5.She’s a college student
After finishing her school studies, Camryn is now taking online classes with Penn State.
6.She’s obsessed with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
she says they’re “basically my food supply.”
7.She can snowboard
When back home in Denver, Camryn is known to go snowboarding. Sounds like a lot of fun (and slippery).
8.She loves dogs
She’s got a lot of dogs including Brooklyn and Lulu. How adorable are they?!
9.She’s got a charitable heart
Camryn has done a lot of charitable efforts, including volunteering at winter coat drives and performing at children’s hospitals back home in Denver.
10.She’s got a brand new EP out which is FIRE
Camryn’s latest EP, ‘New Dynasty’, really promotes her new and more mature sound and is available on iTunes right now.
