On 27th November 2020, Miley Cyrus released her highly-anticipated seventh album Plastic Hearts. The album followed her 2019 EP She Is Coming after taking a short break from music to recover from vocal cord surgery. You wouldn’t know that from listening to the record though, because her voice still sounds as incredible as ever.
Plastic Hearts saw Miley explore a different sound (although to long-time fans it felt somewhat like a return to her younger days) as she stepped confidently into her rock era. The album gave us hit singles like ‘Midnight Sky’ and ‘Prisoner’ ft. Dua Lipa, collaborations with Billy Idol and Joan Jet, plus iconic bonus covers of ‘Heart of Glass’ and ‘Zombie’.
