Jackson Wang demonstrated how love can conquer all fears and even defeat death in the exquisite music video for ’100 Ways’. The new single, released on March 20 under 88Rising, is a follow up to his 2019 album “MIRROS”.

The dramatic cinematography for ‘100 Ways’ is set in ancient China and opens to a group of loyal four soldiers performing a mysterious ritual around a grave in the forest. The ritual served to bring Jackson Wang’s character – possibly a fallen warrior – back to life. The soldiers and Jackson, now clad in his armour, are ready to go on a new mission through the forest to reach a second grave under a beautiful autumnal maple tree. There Jackson performs another ritual himself to bring back to life his lover. the beautiful couple waltz through a choreography that evokes love and passion before disappearing together into a single grave.

The powerful video is paired to a deep house track; the instrumentals of ‘100 Ways’ are a minimal but sophisticated blend of deep house, synth, and trap. In the lyrics, Jackson Wang sings about a lost love and how he’s the only one his lover’s need, “There’s a hundred ways to leave a lover / I won’t wait a minute longer / Hundred ways to leave / But I’m the only one that you need.”
