Go behind the scenes with Niall in this ‘This Town’ video

I am still in a state of shock that Niall is the first 1D member to go solo. I actually screamed (in public) when I read his tweet and screamed even louder when I heard the song. I absolutely adore all the boys but I’m not going to lie, I’ve always been a Niall girl.

It’s taken me over a week to calm down and now, he’s gone and made me hyperventilate all over again! Only this time, I was in the comfort of my own home. This new video shows us a behind the scenes to the recording of his one-take video for his amazing solo track ‘This Town’.

Why does it seem like forever since we heard his gorgeous Irish accent? Seriously though, I could listen to him talk all day. The only thing missing in this video is his infectious laugh, but I guess I can’t have it all. Seriously though Niall, can you please give a bit of warning next time you upload or release something?! Because to quote a 1D song “you’re givin’ me a heart attack”.

Despite how famous he is, you can tell he is extremely humble and grounded, and that Mr Horan is commendable. You can see that the whole experience means SO much to him. To record in the same studio and use the same mic that Frank Sinatra used is pretty awesome. He is literally in awe, and this is evident when you see him walking down the corridor looking at the photos of all the people who have recorded at the studios over the years.

I don’t know why, but I get the feeling that this won’t be the one and only video we see for this track. We all know how sneaky he’s been so far not even telling us when he’s releasing stuff. But then again, you never know – we could be getting an album from him sooner rather than later. He’s been tweeting about his studio sessions. Only time will tell.
