Jackson Wang has scored his highest entry on the Billboard 200 Chart with MAGIC MAN.
On September 19, Billboard announced the debuts on their Billboard 200 Chart – which ranks the most popular albums in the United States for the week ending September 24. MAGIC MAN went straight into the Top 20, debuting at No.15. This marks Jackson‘s all-time high debut on the American chart.

In 2019, Jackson made his debut on the Billboard 200 Chart with his first solo album, MIRRORS, at No.32 on the chart.
In addition to entering the Billboard 200, MAGIC MAN also secured a spot on Billboard’s Top-Selling Album Chart, coming in at No.3.

MAGIC MAN is Jackson Wang’s second full-length album, released on September 9 alongside the title track ‘Blue’.
MAGIC MAN contains 10 tracks, including the pre-released singles ‘Blow’ and ‘Cruel’. MAGIC MAN takes inspiration from 70s rock and is described an energetic and gritty exploration of toxic love and self-discovery. In the album, Jackson shows his most vulnerable side, letting his deepest emotions to surface under the laws of mystery, temptation and confusion. About the album Jackson says, “MAGIC MAN is the ultimate form of oneself, having gone through different peaks and valleys of life to arrive at the most authentic version. Everyone is able to become their own form of MAGIC MAN.”.
MAGIC MAN’s debut on the Billboard 200 confirms the album’s great success. In fact, after its release, MAGIC MAN has reached number 1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 39 countries, including Argentina, Hong Kong, India and Singapore. The single ‘Blue’ has climbed to the top of the iTunes Top Songs charts in over 20 countries. MAGIC MAN also debuted at No.2 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and No.4 on European iTunes Album Chart. The music video for ‘Blue’ has now amassed over 20 million views.
