Louies, the wait is over! After three long years of Lrought, Louis Tomlinson is back and just announced his brand new single ‘Lemonade’, out on 30th September.
In the snippet the singer shared on his social media, we can see Louis sitting – as usual – in a field in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by an old car, a stack of speakers and a bunch of pretty sunflowers, while singing lyrics that are already stuck in our heads (and showing off his newfound Peaky Blinders haircut).

Before the announcement, of course, the Faith In The Future singer teased us with a peculiar website about Louis’ Lemonade with *coughs* his *coughs* personal recipe and reviews from all over the world. It’s precisely in these reviews that fans spotted some words in italic, 3 for each, and started thinking they might mean something…turns out they were absolutely right.

The track anticipates Tomlinson’s third album, almost three years after his sophomore album Faith In The Future, which debuted in 2022 at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 album chart and at No. 1 on the UK albums chart.
We don’t know the record’s name or its release date yet, but what we know is that our Donny boy “has a really good feeling this time round”, can feel it’s going to be his “best yet”, can’t wait for us all to hear it – SAME! – and would describe it as “sunny with a sprinkle of chaos”, a “little brighter” than his previous one. And that’s basically enough to proclaim it Album of the Year, let’s be honest.
We also know that he will perform something new at his upcoming Away From Home Festival, the itinerant festival entirely conceived and curated by the British song-writer himself, that this year will take place in Cooperstown, NY, will last two days – 4th and 5th October – for the first time and will even allow people to camp and live the full experience. If you might be able to attend but haven’t grabbed a ticket yet, you definitively should while there’s still a chance! I mean I’m pretty sure he’s gonna sing ‘Lemonade’ but as he has hinted, that might not be the only new song performed… *cries in Italian*
