After last week’s announcement of the star-studded lineup of artists featured on the Barbie album, Atlantic Records has released the latest track from the highly anticipated movie, Barbie.
“Watati”, the playful new single from Karol G and Panamanian rapper, Aldo Ranks, brings reggaetón to the world of Barbie.

The track was preceded by the soundtrack’s first official single, “Dance the Night” from pop star Dua Lipa, who also makes an appearance in the movie. Produced by Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyat, and the Picard Brothers, the catchy, fit-for-summer track can be heard in the film’s trailer and has a music video that features an appearance from Barbie director, Greta Gerwig.
The rest of the album will feature songs from Ava Max, Charli XCX, Dominic Fike, Fifty Fifty, Gayle, Haim, Ice Spice, Kali, Khalid, Lizzo, Nikki Minaj, PinkPantheress, Tame Impala, and the Kid Laroi, and even Ryan Gosling with an original song performed by his character, Ken.
