As we move into November, the countdown to Christmas is officially on. The weather’s getting colder and the nights are getting darker, meaning it’s the perfect time of year to stay in and get cosy with Netflix.

There’s no better way to kick-start that festive feeling than with a feel-good flick, but we all know the struggle of trying to decide which one to watch. Already exhausted all the holiday classics? Look no further, as we’re rounding up all the sparkly new titles that are being released this year.

1. Holidate (2020)

Sloane (Emma Roberts) and Jackson (Luke Bracey) hate the holidays. When these two meet, they pledge to be each other’s plus-ones for each holiday celebration over the course of the year.

2. Operation Christmas Drop (2020)

Can Stacy and Margaret pull off ANOTHER switch so Margaret can spend more time with Kevin, just ahead of her of coronation? Or will a new lookalike, party girl Fiona, foil their holiday plans? Starring Vanessa Hudgens, Vanessa Hudgens and…Vanessa Hudgens.

4. Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (13th November)

Set in the gloriously vibrant town of Cobbleton, the film follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker) whose fanciful inventions burst with whimsy and wonder. But when his trusted apprentice (Emmy winner Keegan-Michael Key) steals his most prized creation, it’s up to his equally bright and inventive granddaughter (newcomer Madalen Mills) — and a long-forgotten invention — to heal old wounds and reawaken the magic within.

5. A New York Christmas Wedding

As her Christmas Eve wedding draws near, Jennifer is visited by an angel and shown what could have been if she hadn’t denied her true feelings for her childhood best friend.

6. Midnight at the Magnolia

Longtime friends and local radio hosts Maggie and Jack fake it as a couple for their families and listeners in hopes of getting their show nationally syndicated.

7. Dolly Parton’s Christmas on The Square (22nd November)

Have a ‘Holly Dolly’ Christmas with this holiday musical special featuring 14 original songs by Dolly Parton. Christmas On The Square follows small-town “Scrooge” Regina Fuller (Christine Baranski) as she’s visited by a rhinestone-bedazzled angel (Dolly) who guides her on a musical journey of redemption. Will this stingy property owner evict the entire town of Fullerville on Christmas Eve, or will her greed give way to the Christmas spirit?

8. Alien Xmas (20th November)

A young elf mistakes a tiny alien for a Christmas gift, not knowing her new plaything has plans to destroy Earth’s gravity – and steal all the presents.

9. The Christmas Chronicles 2 (25th November)

It’s been two years since siblings Kate and Teddy Pierce saved Christmas, and a lot has changed. Unhappy over her mom’s new relationship, a now-teenage Kate runs away and lands at the North Pole, where a naughty elf is plotting to cancel Christmas. Co-starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, it’s an action-packed adventure for the whole family that’s full of heart, humour, and holiday spirit.
