Thomas Day has released another romantic single, “lost myself 4 you,” amidst his headlining tour. The track is another angelic and vulnerable song about being in love. Following the successful release of his EP in October, a similar story unfolds about a couple. Daydreamers may recognize this new single from the U.S leg of his headlining tour. The track begins with strong background instrumentals. They are similar to the ones featured in the song “Pollen” from his fall EP. It almost sounds as if he is in a church with a harp and choir. Then, 20 seconds into the song, Thomas’ strong and deep vocals take over. And new instruments are heard from the background. Midway through the song, Day shifts to a softer tone, as if he’s quietly speaking to his partner rather than singing out loud. If you listen closely, it almost sounds like he has written a poem for his partner. Although the song ends abruptly, it leaves fans wanting more. It is as if he has more to say in this steamy moment, but doesn’t have the words to.
