Okay, let’s just start with the obvious: Sabrina Carpenter is THAT girl. Just two years ago, she was opening for BLACKPINK at BST Hyde Park. Fast forward to now, and our favourite blondie is not only headlining the iconic Great Oak Stage—but doing it twice in one weekend. Both shows? Completely sold out. On Saturday, she brought it all: the vocals, the outfits, the humour, the emotion, and most importantly, the vibes. It didn’t feel like 65,000 people, it felt like the whole world showed up to scream her lyrics like their lives depended on it.

From the moment she hit the stage in a glittery red jumpsuit with “SABRINA” splashed across the chest, you knew it was going to be a night to remember. She opened with “Busy Woman” and immediately had the crowd in the palm of her hand. From there, it was hit after hit; “Feather”, “Good Graces”, “Slim Pickins”, with a few emotional moments like “Sharpest Tool” (yes, we got teary). Then, as only Sabrina could, she managed to make a fake mattress commercial both hilarious and lowkey sexy, rolling out an actual bed for her song “Bed Chem” complete with a dance break that left jaws on the floor. Queen behaviour!
She also knows how to work a crowd like no other. At one point, she FaceTimed a fan in New York using a random Samsung phone someone handed her (thankfully, Sabrina approved)! She read fan signs, cracked jokes (“Damn, nobody showed up”), and created a dance battle between four couples from her crew. Spoiler: couple #4 took the crown—and deservedly so.

When her latest single “Manchild” kicked off after a funny perfume ad, it was clear we were witnessing a pop star completely in her element. Then came her surprise cover of “Raining Men”, by The Weather Girls. Which was an iconic highlight of the show. The moment she mentioned checking the weather app, we knew what was coming… and still lost it when that first beat dropped.
Later in the show, Sabrina literally floated above the crowd during “Don’t Smile”, waving and singing to fans from a glowing platform like the glittering pop angel she is. Her vocals? Flawless all night, especially during “Crying It’s Over”, when she sang from above as the entire crowd lit up their phones. It felt like a movie. And then, of course, there was her smash hit “Espresso”. With a shot glass in one hand and a cheeky grin, she teased, “The louder you scream, the more I drink.” We screamed. She drank. Fireworks lit up Hyde Park. Absolute perfection.
By the time she signed off with “My name is Sabrina… thanks for coming,” we were emotionally wrecked in the best way possible. If this weekend proved anything, it’s that Sabrina isn’t just having her moment—she is the moment. Short and sweet? Maybe. But her power? Unstoppable.
Highlights: Busy Woman, Nonsense, Feather, Bed Chem, Raining Men, Juno.
