After giving UK fans a first taste at the BST Hyde Park Festival 2024, where they opened for Stray Kids, NMIXX returned to London this time for their very first headline concert in the city as the final stop of their European and UK tour. Any doubts about whether they could command a full headline set were gone almost instantly. Let’s relive this night on how LILY, HAEWON, SULLYOON, BAE, JIWOO and KYUJIN took over Hammersmith Apollo.

From the second the live band kicked in, the crowd got excited. That introduction alone built serious anticipation, making the opening track “O.O” hit even harder. As their debut song, it felt like a great statement paired up with full of confidence. Vocally, the group was locked in from the start. The momentum kept going. “Phoenix” and “Run for Roses” followed with tight choreography and strong live vocals, proving just how complete NMIXX are as performers. The band added an extra layer throughout the night, especially on “Soñar (Breaker)”, where their vocals really took centre stage. It’s not easy to sing like that while performing at full intensity, but they made it look effortless. “RICO” turned things up again, with the crowd fully involved.

One of the most endearing parts of the night came during introductions. The members leaned into British humour with lines like “Good day, innit,” which got huge reactions from the crowd. Lily mentioning her parents being in the crowd made the show feel even more personal. They promised to show sides of themselves fans hadn’t seen before—and they delivered on that. “See That?” was a defining moment. The energy in the room peaked, with fans shouting every word back while the group executed sharp, dynamic choreography. It was one of those performances where everything just clicks with unmatched vibes.

From there, the setlist kept evolving. “BOOM” and “DASH” leaned into a cooler, more confident image, before shifting into a brighter, cuter concept with “PAXXWORD” and its sailor-themed styling. That constant switching is what defines their mixx pop identity—unexpected, but somehow cohesive. There were plenty of fun moments too. A cheeky “hurry up, mate” comment slipped into “Young, Dumb, Stupid”, while “Break the Wall” brought a warm, almost encore-like feeling with confetti and genuine fan interaction. “Shape of Love” felt especially sincere, like a direct message to the audience.

The middle section slowed things down slightly with “High Horse”, giving space for a more emotional performance and beautiful choreography, before ramping things back up. Tracks like “SPINNIN’ ON IT” and “KNOW ABOUT ME” showcased just how strong they are as dancers, while still keeping that signature NMIXX twist of unexpected switches within songs. By the time they reached “Red Light Sign, But We Go,” it was hard not to be impressed by their stamina—still delivering powerful vocals deep into a long set. The final run of songs hit hard. “Papillon” brought the energy back up, while “Slingshot (<★)” and especially “Reality Hurts” introduced a darker, more mysterious vibe that stood out as one of the night’s surprises. Then came “TIC TIC,” which had the whole venue moving.

The closing stretch felt like a victory lap. “DICE” was a clear crowd favourite, earning one of the loudest reactions of the night, followed by the equally powerful “TANK.” “Love Me Like This” was pure fun—one of those songs where you can tell they genuinely love performing it. Ending with their hit “Blue Valentine” was a perfect choice. Soft, nostalgic, and emotional, it turned into a full crowd singalong that carried on even after the members left the stage. The encore didn’t take itself too seriously—in the best way. “Funky Glitter Christmas” in March was chaotic and hilarious, and you could tell the group were just enjoying the moment as much as the fans.

What really defines this show is how effortless NMIXX make everything look. A 2.5-hour set filled with demanding choreography, live vocals, constant concept switches—and not once did their energy dip. NMIXX, come back to London soon mate!
