This is not a drill! It’s totally happening. BTS have announced a world tour and a brand new album featuring 14 tracks that’ll drop in March. The album is titled ‘ARIRANG’, it refers to a famous Korean folk song, often considered the unofficial national anthem, symbolizing Korean identity, longing, separation, pain, and hope, with its exact word meaning debated but hypothesized to relate to “beautiful” (ari) and “beloved” (rang), referring to a loved one. How symbolic is that for ARMY and BTS?

The album will be up for pre-order on Weverse starting January 16 and the official release date is March 20. BigHit has shared that there’ll be many versions of the album: Rooted in Korea Ver., Rooted in Music Ver., Living Legend Ver., the Weverse Albums Ver., and a bunch of vinyls, including one for each member and a group one. This can only mean one thing: it’s going to be epic.

BTS World Tour

The tour, which was announced last Tuesday, is going to so many countries that haven’t seen BTS before or in a long while. They will kick off the tour in Goyang in Seoul in April and in Busan in June, to celebrate FESTA. Then, they’ll go to Europe, to the US, to South America, Asia and with more dates and cities to be announced soon. This announcement only shows that BTS have missed ARMY as much as ARMY have missed BTS.

Now, attention! If you’re planning to go to Seoul or the U.S. or even Europe for shows, the presale opens next week. So be attentive to the notices on Weverse if you want to get those tickets.
