[INTERVIEW] Meet AHOF: A new chapter begins in K-pop

There’s something undeniably special about a debut—the mix of nerves, excitement, and the chaotic energy of finally stepping into the spotlight with glitter, amazing outfits, and an unreasonable amount of stage charisma. For AHOF, that moment has officially arrived. With their debut album [WHO WE ARE], the group isn’t just saying “hi”, they’re kicking down the door, serving vocals, emotions, and visuals all at once. Honestly? Rude. But also, thank you.

The sound is raw, polished, heartfelt, and powerful. Basically, it’s giving ‘rookie legends’ in the making. So if you’re new here, welcome. If you’ve been here since pre-debut; congratulations! Congratulations on your debut! Can you tell us a bit more about your debut album?
STEVEN: [WHO WE ARE] is our existence and voice. It reflects all the images such as anxiety, excitement, comfort, and appreciation of us.

If you could recommend one song from your debut album to someone who’s never heard of you before, which would it be and why?
STEVEN: I recommend “Incompleted” It gives hope and consolation
JEONGWOO: I will recommend “The Universe” It has a bright and shining mood which I really like it
WOONGKI: “The Little Star (Intro). You can hear a familiar melody
SHUAIBO: I say, “The Little Star (Intro).” If you listen while watching the music video, it will touch your heart
HAN: I recommend the “Incompleted” because I like the aura that the song has
JL: The best recommendation would be our title “Rendezvous” because it has band vibe, and it is a song that everyone can love it!
JUWON: I will recommend our title track. It is a song that will touch the heart. Please have a listen!
CHIHEN: I will say, “Incompleted.” The lyrics are good, but the melody is more than good
DAISUKE: I will recommend “Cosmic Underdog”.

What emotions or messages do you hope fans will take away from your debut album?
WOONGKI: AHOF’s sincere and lovely heart!
JL: I want to show who is AHOF and the AHOF’s existence! I hope everyone catches that message!

What do you want fans to feel when they listen to your debut album?
HAN: It is something obvious, but it is about us, AHOF. I want everyone to hear our sincerity.
JEONGWOO: I want to feel nostalgia. It is a song that brings memories!

Could you explain the meaning of your group name, AHOF. And what it represents to you as a group?
STEVEN: AHOF is an abbreviation of “All-time Hall Of Famer” which has the meaning of an artist that will be remembered forever. We have a wish to leave a small memory box of fans’ hearts of all the activities and stages we have done with them.

How do you feel your teamwork and chemistry as a group have grown through this debut process?
CHIHEN: Through many practices, we are now close to each other and because of that, we work more as a group.
JUWON: Recently, I was really surprised that AHOF really became one group because we had to fix some details, but everyone catches right away!

What are some qualities in each member that you admire the most?
SHUAIBO: I really want and admire STEVEN’s muscle! The muscular body!
DAISUKE: In my case, HAN’s vocal skill!

What’s something about AHOF that fans might not know yet?
WOONGKI: It shines when all individual charms come to one team!
CHIHEN: Well. We are funnier than people think!

Do you have a special message for the fans that are following you since pre-debut?
JEONGWOO: Thanks for waiting for us until now. We will repay you with good music as much as you have waited for us!

What goals or aspirations do you have for AHOF moving forward?
HAN: I want to be the first in the music chart
JUWON: To grow as an artist with great results and give positive influences to the fans.
