5SOS have taken over the world again with new music, a new tour, and new hairstyles. Since the end of September, when they first teased their album, Everyone’s a Star, there have been non-stop announcements. Fans were expecting a new album, music videos, and tour dates. But the band members never settle for the bare minimum. This past fall, they exceeded fans’ expectations, making everyone feel like a star—even those who cannot afford to attend the tour in 2026.
Their “not a comeback” kicked off with a surprise show at the Sun Rose in Los Angeles, where they arrived in pink limousines and debuted “Not Okay.” From there, the surprises keep coming. Early October brought Everyone’s a Star merch pre-orders in their magenta-pink-and-black palette, nodding to their early emo/rock era and album theme. That same week, they launched a quirky daily skit series, The Daily Sauce, packed with jokes and hidden clues. They then closed the month with another iconic title track, “Telephone Busy,” an upbeat song born on the spot.
At the start of November, they surprised fans with a pop-up performance at HERE in London. From announcing tour dates to taking over the hottest spots of New York City and LA, holding pop-up concerts in North America, the UK, and Australia, partnering with record stores for listening parties, and holding an Australian and Republic Records press conference, the guys have done it all. Even after the album was released, they surprised us with The Cool Dad version and The Deluxe Edition of the album.
But wait, there’s more (because of course there is)… the men of Daily Sauce also replaced Al Roker on the Today Show one morning. Somehow, they managed to squeeze in an album meet and greet at Rough Trade NY, too. To cap off their achievements, they were inducted into the Australian Hall of Fame.
To quote Ashton Irwin: “One of the funnest/ exhausting body-destroying release weeks of my life.”
Tickets for the Everyone’s a Star World Tour are available for purchase now. Their special guests have yet to be announced. After all the album release celebrations, we can expect nothing less than unstoppable talent and even more chaos from them.
