So if you guys didn’t already know, I am a CW whore. What does this mean? It means that 80% of the shows I watch are airing on The CW. And the newest addition is the addictive teen drama, ‘Riverdale’. You’ve all heard about it right? I was legitimately hooked after the first episode. Haven’t checked the show out yet? Let me convince you why you should defs add it onto your watch list.
1. Veronica Lodge
Camila Mendes is my absolute fave. Not only is she gorgeous, but her character is someone you’d definitely need to be friends with. She doesn’t take shit from anybody and she’ll definitely have your back. Her whole existence is goals tbh.
2. Jughead
If you don’t find yourself falling in love with Jughead, are we even watching the same show? Cole Sprouse is amazing and brings his character to life. I never knew I needed a Jughead until I started watching ‘Riverdale’. God damn.
3. Who killed Jason Blossom?
Because who doesn’t love a murder mystery in a small town? I’m always a sucker for them. I always have to find out “who dunnit?” It’s anyone’s guess at this point in time.
4. KEVIN.
To quote Veronica Lodge, Kevin is “my best gay”. He is so adorable and I want to eat him all up. No one is allowed to harm Kevin in any way. I’m looking at you, Joaquin. Casey Cott, I love you. Can we make him a series regular please? That’d be swell.
5. The one-liners.
CHERYL I’M DONE OH MY GOD. No, this isn’t a made up GIF. This is an actual line in the show. That Cheryl said to Archie’s dad. GOD BLESS HER, I love her witty remarks.
6. Cheryl Blossom
Okay, look. At the beginning of the show, I hated her. Now, I can’t get enough of her. She’s the bitch you love to hate. Deep down, I know she has a good heart. Maybe?
7. #Bughead
Yes, this is the official ship name for Betty and Jughead. I didn’t like it at first but it’s grown on me. BUT BUGHEAD ARE MY LIFE. No one is allowed to ruin them, otherwise I’m suing. Y’all understand? Cool.
8. KJ Apa (aka Archie Andrews)
Let me tell you now, high school boys did NOT look like this when I was 17. If they were, I would’ve realised I was gay sooner (lmao). Damn boy.
9. Beronica (Betty and Veronica)
I absolutely adore Betty and Veronica’s friendship. It’s amazing. And you can tell they’re best friends in real life. The chemistry doesn’t just magically happen. They’re both perfect. I love them all long time.
10. The story
If you love ‘Pretty Little Liars’, then prepared to get addicted once again. One thing that drew me in was the story. I always love a little mystery and drama. Who doesn’t? Considering PLL is ending, welcome to your new obsession.
