Trend or Trash: Gypsy Shrine / Glitter Tits

0

Welcome back to another episode of ‘Trend or Trash’; where you let us know your thoughts on the latest viral trends that are certainly turning heads.

Today’s trend: Gypsy Shrine/Glitter Tits

Around the time of Coachella came the pretty jaw-dropping trend of glitter tits, which are currently being called a ‘Gypsy Shrine’. According to ‘The Gypsy Shrine’ website: “the inspiration behind the Gypsy Shrine began with a fascination of hippies, free spirits who embrace life and are not afraid to experiment and express their creative side.”

The designs can consist of diamantes, gems, sequins or just straight up glitter – whatever tickles your fancy, really.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a cleavage so sparkly…

All these Glitter Goddesses are out here!

My personal thoughts? I wouldn’t wear it myself… the thought of things being stuck on me doesn’t sound great and I’m not in a state of mind where I’m comfortable to show my bod off like that, but to anyone who does wear it, you go, girl! It’s a definite bold statement and it’s kind of breaking the whole ‘women can’t be shirtless’ concept. I’ll support anyone I see at a festival sporting sparkly boobehs, even if I’m more into covering myself up. I do like a spot of sparkle, but maybe I’ll stick to glitter roots instead.

Whether British weather will be kind enough to let people rock this at festivals is another thing; I dread to think about the discomfort of being cold with bare boobs.

Are glitter tits trend or trash? Will you get the gals out in glitzy galore? Vote on the poll below and be sure to give your opinion on other head-turning trends.
