In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Taylor Swift revealed that she obsessively binge-watched Game of Thrones while making her No. 1 album ‘Reputation.’ Some of her biggest hits were odes to the powerful Arya Stark and ruthless Cersei Lannister.
She confessed the highly-popular show not only inspired her musically but also professionally, saying, “My entire outlook on storytelling has been shaped by [Thrones] — the ability to foreshadow stories, to meticulously craft cryptic storylines… So, I found ways to get more cryptic with information and still be able to share messages with the fans. I aspire to be one one-millionth of the kind of hint dropper the makers of Game of Thrones have been.”
