The moment we’ve all be waiting for has arrived: Ariana Grande‘s clever new video for her smash ‘thank u, next’ is here. The popstar has been dropping hints left and right about the highly anticipated premiere with pictures of her dressed like characters from classic romantic comedy films—Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, Bring It On, and 13 Going On 30.

The track references her exes and how these failed relationships taught her something crucial—she’s strong, powerful, and compassionate. What better way to pay homage to inner strength than capturing the essence of spunky early 2000s women in iconic rom-coms?

Kris Jenner even makes an appearance, posing as Mean Girls character Regina George’s mother. Holding camcorder and all, she records and dances along to the infamous ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ routine performed by Ariana alongside her former Victorious co-star Elizabeth Gillies. We see Ari pull off the timeless “bend-and-snap” move made by Elle Woods with Jennifer Coolidge and of course, we can’t forget to mention the Bring It On tooth brushing scene where another Nickelodeon reunion is sparked with Matt Bennett. Colleen Ballinger, Troye Sivan, Daniella Monet, and Jonathan Bennett are some of the other famous faces that also make a cameo.

Fans are eating it all up, loving every minute of the singer’s bubbly new video. It’s bursting with tons of pop culture references especially for early 90s kids who grew up watching these cult classics.
